We offer a variety of pigging technologies to satisfy the requirements of the wide range of processes.
Process systems, which can be cleaned with pigs, are becoming increasingly important for the low-germ processes. Among other reasons, this is attributable to an increased environmental consciousness, costly waste water treatment, prevention of costly product losses, and production streamlining measures.
Low-germ processes pose stringent demands on system components
Sterile processes pose stringent hygienic demands on system components. For low-germ processes we offer DMV pigging systems featuring EHEDG certifiedand, optionally, 3-A rated CIP/SIP LIAG® arc valves and piggingvalves and specifically designed pig launching and receiving stationswithout dead pockets. By virtue of the modular component design, thread and clamp unions are virtually no longer needed. Typical hygienicrisk areas are thus minimized from the very start. All valves, even whenwelded in place, can be taken apart and easily converted.
DMV lip pig For reliable sealing
DMV lip pigs are of homogeneous construction (hygienic design). They offerexcellent cleaning effect and are virtually free of wear. Dynamic lips form areliable sealing. As a function of the pushing and counterpressure these lipsaccommodate perfectly, thereby compensating existing deviations inthe pipe geometry. The pigs are highly flexible and suited for tight radii(R = 1,5 x D). As an option, dynamic lip pigs are equipped with a magnetfor location and control. They are FDA-rated and available in silicone in thenominal widths DN 40 – 100 (1,5” – 4”).
